Lovely chips and the fish was really tasty I will come back

Takeaway fish and chip shop with about 5 tables inside we ate inside, exelent fish and chips, and a good pot of tea lovely helpful service. Dog friendly. Will call again next time in Pocklington

We were on holiday in the area and fancied some fish and chips. This venue did not disappoint, all freshly prepared and cooked with batter to die for light crispy and did not detract from the taste of the fish. Both the haddock and plaice were first class. Well worth a visit

Best fish and chips in Pocklington by far, and the nicest fish I've had compared to most other places I've been to. But getting very expensive. It's a bit of a luxury getting fish and chips now. We used to get them often from here, but can't remember the last time. Bit of a tragedy really considering it is supposed to be the staple English meal. Not any more.

Always very happy with our choices from Andy and the team at Railway Street Fisheries! The fish is always beautifully cooked with nice crisp batter! Chips are great too! I sometimes choose the spam fritter instead which is a delicious treat! They do takeaway but there are also some tables and chairs inside their recently decorated seating area, so we usually sit in and have a big mug of tea too! Very pleased to see that they won an award in a recent competition too! Well done :)

I've just had a fish butty and it was that nice and I ate it that fast I forgot to take picture of it beforehand for my review (hence the picture of an empty box after I demolished it). Substantial portion, cooked to perfection, excellent tasting crispy batter, juicy fish and great prices. If I'm in the area again I'll pop back in. Cheers!

Recently moved to pocklington and had fish and chips from there twice now, both times certainly not disappointed and bring fish and chips to a whole new standard. Tried plenty of fish and chips for various places and they have nothing on these guys.

We all went as a family today at Pocklington Fisheries today. With it being raining today we dined in, I had Battered jumbo sausage and chips and I haven't tasted some wonderful food like this for a long time, the chips was nice and dry that I like personally and I never had such a nice tasting sausage before, cooked to perfection indeed we all will visit here very soon
